Sleep Studies – At AmeriSleep Diagnostics we are equipped to provide a full spectrum of diagnostic studies to evaluate snoring and sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs, and other sleep disorders. Such studies include:

  • Polysomnography (PSG) – is a overnight sleep diagnostic test during which a number of physiologic variables are measured and recorded during sleep and is considered the standard of care for the diagnosis and/or confirmation of Sleep Disorders...
    • Brain electrical activity
    • Eye and jay muscle movement
    • Leg muscle movement
    • Airflow
    • Respiratory effort (chest and abdominal excursion)
    • EKG
    • Oxygen Saturation
  • CPAP/Bi-level Titration – A flow of positive-pressure air through a mask to splint the airway open for sleep apnea treatment
  • Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) – An objective test to evaluate sleepiness and will also be used to measure the results of your treatment.
  • Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT) – An objective test used to document that a sleep/breathing treatment is effective.
  • Home Sleep Test – Unattended Home overnight sleep study that monitors oxygen levels (SaO2) and pulse, respiratory effort, and snoring.
